What treatment do you recommend for my dog's (Westie) front shoulder arthritis? When he walks he throws his left front leg out and forward whereas the right leg goes straight forward. Thanks

Dear Robert,

I would try PROMAXOL to reduce any discomfort and help healing to begin. PROMAXOL would be a good choice for your dog because it contains the stronger LM potencies. The oligotherapeutic mineral base found in the IONX products helps the body to better utilize the other nutritional substances given for a synergistic response and faster healing. I would give a half dose of Promaxol with each meal initially. After improvement is seen then you can switch to a whole dose once daily. I also like to give probiotics and Omega 3,6,9 to support the body. Also be sure to give sufficient fresh water that is free of chlorine and fluoride. The other thing that is sometimes beneficial is to have a certified veterinary chiropractor check for spinal alignment and make any corrections as necessary. Proper spinal alignment can help with how the front legs move.

Please let us know how you progress or if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,

Dr. Char www.vetionx.com
