I have an older female cat, who is licking her fur and scratching like she has flees. She dosen't. As far as I can tell, she has a skin condition. I need to know, what kind of medication I can give her, to releive her of this problem.

I can't pay you. I just want my cat to be well.

Thank You, Jeffrey J. LaPorta

DERMA-IONX has been helpful in feline dermatitis. As for dosing the DERMA-IONX, I prefer to give 10 drops onto some canned food twice daily at breakfast and supper. I also give probiotics, and Omega 3,6,9 to improve digestion and reduce inflammation. These three products can help the skin to heal. If your water contains chlorine, give filtered water instead. According to Chinese food therapy I would choose a cooling food such as fish or turkey. I would look for a grain free version. If you know that your cat is allergic to a protein do not use it even if it has the right thermal property.

I would also suggest that your cat be checked for internal parasites (with a stool sample) if it hasn't been done recently.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
