I have a 13 year old cat who has groomed the fur off her tummy and inside legs and is now starting on her side. This has been ongoing for a couple years. There was no obvious 'stressor'. Is there a product you';D recommend?

Dear Lorraine,

DERMA-IONX can helpful for excessive grooming depending upon the cause. As for dosing the DERMA-IONX, I prefer to add 10 drops onto some canned food twice daily at breakfast and supper. If you need to you can give another 10 drops orally at bedtime. I also give probiotics, and Omega 3,6,9 which can help reduce itchiness. What kind of food and treats do you give your cat? Food will influence the skin. I also suggest that cats be checked for parasites, so you might want to do this if it hasn't been done recently.

Please keep us updated so we can help guide you.

Best regards,
