Our child is a large sheltie (looks like a collie) and is 8 years old. He has recovered from yrs of limping, bilateral ACL, and just from a hematoma excision from L hind upper leg in June. He is fully recovered though these have gone on for the past 6 years of his life. He does not want to walk much and seems to tire easily as he is not used to walking much. Any suggestions? I just restarted him back on Arthro-IonX today. Thanks and look forward to hearing from you.

Dear Julie,

I would split the dose of ARTHRO-IONX and give a half dose with breakfast and a half dose with supper. I would also give PROBIOTICS and OMEGA 3,6,9 to improve digestion and assimilation and also reduce inflammation. Gradually increase the amount of daily exercise. If he is tired when exercising let him stop and rest. You might want to have your veterinarian check his heart. Please let us know how he does.

Best regards,
