I have a 15 year old Aussie mix with lots of tumors. In the last week she has started not to be able to get up well and not walking well at all. She drags one hind leg and I really don't want to prolong her suffering and am seriously considering euthanasia.

Dear Beate,

If you would like to try one last thing to see if you can help your dog perk up her immune system and try to regain some balance you might try giving her Promaxol. At 15 years of age, a dog’s body isn't keeping up as well as it used to with doing good maintenance so Promaxol would try to remind it of what it used to do. The oligo-therapeutic mineral base also helps to stimulate the enzyme systems responsible for healing. It is a hard decision when you get to the point you are at. If you decide to give it a try let us know how we can help guide you further.

Sincerely,
Dr. Char
