My dog weighs 13.50 she is on thyroid medication 1/2 am and 1/2 pm of 0.1 mg. She is also on 1/2 0f 10 mg Fluoxetine once a day, but it doesn't seem to help her when we leave her along she will scratch and try and bite herself I have to put booties and a collar on her but she will still try and succeed in scratching herself. She is also on Nzymes for over populated yeast that has been since October 2012. Would it be ok to give her Anxietrex with all the other products she is on? I told the vet that the Fluoxetine wasn't working he said he would like to try another, but he has already tried calmicalm and that didn't work either. I would like to try something more natural. Thank you Elayna

Dear Elayna,

You could try Anxietrex for your dog. It helps pets deal with various causes of anxiety. I would use it daily for a few weeks if necessary. In addition I would also give a Chill-Out Chew a little bit before you plan on leaving. You can also leave classical music on the radio to divert her attention.

Diet can also affect behavior. What do you feed her? Artificial preservatives and colors are good to avoid. I like a non GMO diet. Please let us know what response you see.
