I have a 1 year old Golden Retriever that has all of a sudden started chewing on the carpet. She has chewed around the edge where the carpet meets the linoleum flooring but has now chewed a hole in the middle of the floor. I did a temporary fix on it so that you couldn't see the hole. She now has pulled the temporary piece out. What can I do to get her to leave that spot alone? She is the only pet that has been on the carpet. She does eat her treats and rawhide bones in this room. Please help!! I have got to get her stopped before I have to take other measures and possible crate her.

Dear Sheila,

Does she work on the spot when you are at home and/or when you are away? What food and supplements do you give? What kind of treats???

Best regards,
