I have a 13 year old Golden Chow. All of a sudden she has difficulty walking on our hardwood floors. It appears that her right rear leg slides out sideways causing her to fall spread eagle on all fours. The same leg appears to be cocked outward now. She can walk ok (gingerly) on carpet and rough surfaces. I have placed an order for Arthro-IonX, but am curious if there is something else going on.

Dear Mike,

Besides ARTHRO-IONX it is also helpful to give PROBIOTICS and OMEGA 3,6,9 to support the body. To nourish the nerves that innervate the rear end I use a Choline/B vitamin supplement called Geri-Form. Besides this I recommend veterinary Chiropractic. Proper alignment can help with better movement. If this does not provide lasting results then you should consider blood work to determine whether there is an underlying cause for the recent changes.

Best regards,
