Our french bulldog has allergies (Vet). Suggested giving her allergy tabs. The folds in her face are always red and seems to be spreading. Always rubbing her face on the rug, paws and fence outside sometimes. She seems to have little patches on her body now and has rash but her anus and under tail too. Have been using hydro- cortizone cream and every other cream you can think of but worried about it being near her eyes. Have non-aller baby wipes to keep skin clean. She is on concrete with her bedding and only in grass to go to the bathroom. If too warm outside, she comes inside in the a/c. Please help. At wits end.

Dear Ann,

You might want to look at some of our products to help heal the skin. DERMA-IONX which is an oral homeopathic product stimulates the enzyme systems in the body which reduces itching and inflammation, promotes healing of the skin and helps with assimilation of nutritional components in diet and supplements. The supplements I use along with it include probiotics, MSM, vitamin C, and Omega 3,6,9. Together with DERMA-IONX it produces a synergistic effect for a faster response. I would also suggest that you give your dog only filtered water for drinking and bathing if your water contains chlorine or fluoride. For the dietary modifications you might want to try a grain free diet for a while. In the summer I would choose either fish, turkey, or beef as the protein source since they are less heat producing then would be lamb or chicken.

Please feel free to contact us again if you have any other questions or to let us know of your progress.

Best wishes,

Dr. Char www.vetionx.com
