I have been using Arthro-IonX for my American Cocker Spaniel now for about 6 years which has worked out well for her hind quarters; however, lately she has had this white-ish mucus discharge after urinating which does not seem to be painful but she will turn 15 yrs old this June. She is still very active, spry, and eats well and walks a good distance on her exercise routine. She seems to be more hungry and is drinking more water but we do live in the desert and the weather gets hot/dry. Her feces is normal and clear and regular. Please advise.

Dear Barbara,

It would be helpful to bring in a urine sample and have it checked. If you haven't had a physical and blood work done recently it would be good to do so now. Please let us know what you find out.

Best regards,
