Currently I work with a Rescue. I have a dog that has terrible dermatitis which the rescue has been battling for 5+ months. Dog was transferred to me as vet thought a coastal climate would improve his skin. Dog was on Atopica 1 every other day with daily Fluconizole to help uptake. Dog arrived & had skin flare-up. Dermatologist put him on daily Atopica and course of prednisone & suggested changing diet. Diet is now Honest Kitchen Zeal & probiotics. Skin issues resolved. Meds discontinued. However, dog is in foster care this week due to foster mom being out of town. Only difference is different environment. He has had a huge flare up of skin issues inside of 2 days. Will your product work in conjunction with his meds and not interfere or cause more issues? What is your suggestion for products? Thank you!! Chriss

Dear Chriss,

Homeopathics can be used with conventional medications and supplements without interfering with them. Derma-IonX which is an oral homeopathic product stimulates the enzyme systems in the body which reduces itching and inflammation , promotes healing of the skin and helps with assimilation of nutritional components in diet and supplements. The supplements I use along with it include Canine probiotics, vitamin C, MSM, and Omega 3,6,9. Together with Derma-IonX it produces a synergistic effect for a faster response. I would also suggest that you give only filtered water for drinking and bathing if your water contains chlorine or fluoride. For the dietary modifications you might want to try a grain free diet for a while.

Defendex shampoo which is nontoxic washes away debris and soothes the skin. Using these products can make a difference in improving difficult skin conditions.

Please feel free to contact us again if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,.
