My 8 year old female lab has chronic ear infections. She was on yeast/fungal pills and ear drops for about 6 months. Her paws and chin cleared up, but now she licks her groin area frequently. I clean her ears out 2 times a week with trizultra keto sol, I do hear the suctioning nose when I clean them. I have put her on a limited ingredient dog food with duck and potato. Nothing seems to be clearing up the ear infection. She is getting them one right after another. Is there anything else I could do to make her feel better and get her over the ear infections. She recently, within the last 2 weeks, has started limping with her front paws again. Last time we put her on Arthro-IonX and it cleared up. It hasn't come back until now for 3 years. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Dear Sherilyn,

You might want to look at some of our products to help heal the body. DERMA-IONX which is an oral homeopathic product stimulates the enzyme systems in the body which reduces itching and inflammation, promotes healing of the skin and helps with assimilation of nutritional components in diet and supplements. The supplements I use along with it include probiotics, MSM, vitamin C, and Omega 3,6,9. Together with DERMA-IONX it produces a synergistic effect for a faster response. I would also suggest that you give your dog only filtered water for drinking and bathing if your water contains chlorine or fluoride. Since you haven't had a positive response with the duck diet I would choose either fish, turkey, or beef as the protein source since they are cooling or neutral foods according to Chinese food therapy. Don't use one if there are known allergies to it. To address the ears directly I would use an enzyme product called Zymox otic. It is left in for a week before cleaning, the enzymes work against the organisms.

Using these products can help to resolve a difficult condition. Please feel free to contact us again if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,
