Health Questions & Answers

My dog seems to be bothered with allergies of some kind. Lots of licking of his feet. He has also since November had a history of yeast infection in his ears. I have dropped close to $600 at my vet for testing, med's., and ear drops. Is there anything over the counter that would help him?

Dear Cheryl,

You might want to look at some of our products to help with allergies. DERMA-IONX which is an oral homeopathic product stimulates the enzyme systems in the body which reduces itching and inflammation, promotes healing of the skin and helps with assimilation of nutritional components in diet and supplements. The supplements I use along with it include Canine probiotics, Omega 3,6,9, vitamin C, and MSM. Together with DERMA-IONX it produces a synergistic effect for a faster response. You may also spray DERMA-IONX on any itchy areas. I would also suggest that you give only filtered water for drinking and bathing if your water contains chlorine or fluoride. What kind of food and treats do you give? I like to feed grain-free if there are allergies.

Please let us know how you do or if you have any other questions..

Best wishes,

Dr. Char
