My rescue dog (lab/hound mix) was diagnosed with demodectic mange. She is ca. 6 years old. She is losing hair around her eyes, mouth and face , but the skin looks fine. She has no parasites now, had tapeworms a month ago, which was treated successfully. I have already started to add immune booster and flaxseed oil to her diet. Does Defendex help to kill the mange and is it also safe around the face?

Defendex kills mites and helps soothe the skin. You can use it on the face, but I would instill a little eye ointment into the eyes to protect them in case some shampoo gets in them. Please let us know how you do or if you have any other questions.
