Our 10 year 8 lb little poodle was diagnosed with diabetes yesterday. Our Vet has suggested insulin shots. Her blood glucose level is almost 400. First, will Dia-IonX actually help her and second how long will it take to work. Thanks Mike

Dear Michael,

We recommend that you use insulin to get the blood sugar down more quickly. DIA-IONX will help with the symptoms of diabetes and help support the pancreas, liver, and kidneys. It takes time to get healing to occur and so that is why one should use insulin. It is also good to combine it with other supplements such as PROBIOTICS, OMEGA 3,6,9, and MSM. It is best to offer filtered water. Diet and treats will also influence your progress.

It is important to monitor blood glucose levels so that you will know when you need to talk to your veterinarian about adjusting your therapy. If the body begins to make more functional insulin then you would need to lower your insulin dose so that you would not be overdosing.

Please keep us updated so we can help guide you.

Best regards,
