Every 3-4 months, my diabetic cat (who takes Dia-IonX), gets sick for a few days. He throws up, only eats baby food (sometimes he won't eat this), and I have to force water down his throat. After a few days, he is back to normal and feeling/acting fine. Is this normal for a diabetic cat? He is 18 and thanks to your product, has lived almost 3 years longer than was expected. Should I be worried? I don't want to take him to the vet again because he gets too stressed out. Is there something I can give him during this time that will make him feel better. Should I double up on the Dia-IonX? Please let me know ASAP as he isn't feeling well right now. Thank you!

Dear Stacy,

This is not normal. What do you feed and do you give treats? Do you give supplements? What kind of water do you use? How much DIA-IONX do you give and how do you administer it? What is your schedule? How do you monitor the diabetes?

Best regards,
