How long after you feed your cat do you give insulin, also does it need to be a even 12 hours?

Dear Violet,

Your veterinarian helps you determine the best timing. Insulin is given at mealtime. The next meal is usually given about 8 - 10 hours later depending upon the time of the maximal insulin activity. Please talk to your veterinarian about any concerns you might have. Is your cat doing well? Have you tried DIA-IONX?
