Dear Mary,

The easiest diet would be to feed canned food of a prescription diabetic food that your veterinarian sells. If your cat doesn't like it there are a few types of over the counter canned foods that are low enough in carbohydrates. Studies have shown diabetic cats do better if they do not eat any dry food at all. We recommend a holistic approach. Besides dietary changes, we also use DIA-IONX, PROBIOTICS, and OMEGA 3,6,9 to reduce the symptoms of diabetes. Giving purified water is also important if your water contains chlorine. Having a regular moderate exercise schedule will also be helpful in reducing the blood glucose levels.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Best regards,

Dr. Char www.vetionx.com
