My cat is a 13 year old diabetic that has been taking vetsulin. Since this is not available, I’m interested in your product. I would like to know how much would my cat need to take so I know what size to order. He is about 12lbs and is this a good replacement for vetsulin?

Dear Jessica,

Dia-IonX is not a replacement for insulin. It has helped some pets lower their insulin requirements and occasionally a few have been able to discontinue usage. The body has to heal first so that it makes functional insulin that works in the body. Some other things that aid this process is to feed only a diabetic approved diet of canned food, digestive enzymes with each meal, and probiotics and a fish oil supplement daily. Having a regular moderate exercise schedule helps to move the blood glucose into the muscles. Hopefully your cat likes to play with toys. This process takes time so you would want to buy some extra bottles. Petra could help you decide what would be the best value for you. Please keep us informed of your progress. Thank you.

Best wishes,
