My cat is presently on Vetsulin. But now that it is unavailable I was wondering if this would be something I could change him to.

Dear Lois,
You will need to follow your veterinarian's recommendations on brand and dosage of insulin he or she wants to switch to. You may concurrently give Dia-IonX to help reduce side effects of diabetes and to begin to heal the internal organs. As improvements occur you may need to reduce the insulin dosage because the body will require less insulin. In addition to Dia-IonX there are some other things that I find helpful. Give only canned food suitable for diabetics such as Purina's DM, and a probiotic like Purina's Forti Flora, and a fish oil supplement daily. Dia-IonX will help the body better utilize the other supplements for a synergistic effect producing faster results.

Please let us know how you progress and if you have any further questions.

Best wishes,
Dr. Char
