One of my client's brought this product to me. He uses this on his pet. He says the product works great which I'm very happy about. However, the first ingredient on the label says "Oleander" for itching. I know from my toxicology class that oleander is highly toxic to dogs. I want to know what makes this product safe to use on dogs.

Dear Dr. Miyamota,

The Oleander is in homeopathic form so it has been diluted and succussed so many times that there are very few molecules left in the preparation. Thus it is rendered nontoxic to the dog.

Please let us know if you have any other questions or would like any more information on homeopathy.

Best regards,
