Hello, this is my first time buying this product and hope this works, my two dogs, black lab and a Pomeranian both with skin problems. black lab has bumps on his back near his tail and drives him nuts, itchy and his smells so bad from licking his paws , back , tail etc. I am hopeing this will calm him down and heal is skin condition, fleas don't help either, both dogs have this scratching and biting and goes on for days. I put them on allergy medicine benyldrel and doesn't seems to help. so I am hoping this will help. Vet bills can be expensive if I go that route, probably put them on antibiotics maybe shots etc.

Dear Gregory,

DERMA-IONX is helpful for allergic skin conditions. It is an oral homeopathic product which stimulates the enzyme systems in the body that aids the skin and helps with assimilation of nutritional components in diet and supplements. What sets it apart from most homeopathics is that it is in an oligotherapeutic mineral base which has had a charge added to it.

Initially I would give a half dose of DERMA-IONX on the breakfast and supper food. After there are signs of improvement you can give a whole dose once a day. I would also give Probiotics to aid the immune system. OMEGA 3,6,9 is also helpful in soothing skin and improves coat quality. Giving it orally helps to moisturize the skin.

Diet can also influence the skin. What do you feed your dog? What kind of water do you give?

You should also check the fur for any signs of fleas or flea debris. Many pets develop allergies to fleas. It is important to get rid of the fleas. I find treating the house and car with a product that has an insect growth regulator to prevent immature fleas from developing.

Please keep us updated so we can help guide you along the way.

Best regards,
