I just ordered the Dia-IonX for my 13 year old lab. The cushings meds were making his arthritus worse. I have been giving him Arthro-IonX for a couple of days. You also suggested an Omega 3,6,9. Also a probiotic. Is there anything else I can do until the Dia-IonX gets here? J.C.

Dear Joanne,

I think this is what I suggested before.

For Cushings I have used DIA-IONX and Phophatidyl serine. Phosphatidyl serine should be available from a health food store. In addition it is helpful to give MSM, PROBIOTICS, vitamin C, and OMEGA 3,6,9. Also be sure to give sufficient fresh water that is free of chlorine and fluoride. I would feed a grain free diet but any diet changes should be made gradually.

The other thing that is sometimes beneficial is to have a certified veterinary chiropractor check for spinal alignment and make any corrections as necessary. Acupuncture might also be helpful.

Best wishes,

Dr. Char www.vetionx.com
