My dog has been diagnosed with severe arthritis. He is 11-1/2 years old. I give him K-9 Liquid Health, home cooked food prescribed by www.petdiets.com for inflammatory bowel disease. He is doing very well now. His only problem now is that his hind legs are weakening and painful. Would your product be suitable for a dog with digestive problems? We have always walked 3-4 miles per day, down to 2-3 last summers, and this year sadly under a mile due to his legs. I would be nice if he could do that amount pain free or at least with much less pain.

Dear Wendy,

You can give your dog Arthro-IonX but I would start with 1/4 dose twice daily for a few days, and then increase to a 1/2 dose twice daily if the stools are doing fine. Arthro-IonX will decrease inflammation and reduce pain. However I think it best to go slowly because we want to avoid too much detoxification too quickly. Please let us know how you progress and if you have any other questions.
