Hi ! I have a 13 year old Schnauzer which I adopted from the local shelter. After the adoption they informed me he had to be tranquilized before grooming. Last Spring the vet gave me a pill to calm him but she told us it would not be wise to do it again because of his age. He really gets very agitated when his face and body are being shaved and bathed. Do you think the chillout chews would be helpful in calming him? Spring is almost here and he needs another grooming. Thank you for your suggestions.

Dear Ellen,

I think Chill-Out Chews coud be helpful. You might also want to try adding ANXIETREX to the food or water for a couple of weeks before the grooming and then try a CHILL-OUT CHEW before you go for a short drive so you can see the effect. Let us know how that goes. The evening before the appointment you could give a Chew and then again the morning of. Hope we can make this a less stressful experience for him.

Best regards,
