Health Questions & Answers

Our cat showed signs of diabetes. We put him on your product Dia-IonX 3-4 months ago.. It has worked incredibly well.  We took him off hard food.. Problem now is his stools are soft and he's leaving his litter box and wiping his butt all over the carpet, something he never did when on hard food.  Any ideas on what we can do.  Put him back on hard food and continue your Dia-IonX? Thanks Steve

Dear Steve,

I would try 10 drops of Dia-IonX with breakfast and 10 drops with supper. I would give PROZYME (enzymes) and Purina FortiFlora (probiotic) with his meals. He should not get any dry food unless you wish him to remain diabetic. It would be like a diabetic human eating cake and cookies. Canned foods that are low in carbohydrates include Friskies Classic Pate Salmon, Fancy Feast - Savory Salmon Feast, Turkey and Giblets Feast, and White Meat Chicken Florentine. These are 2% or lower in carbohydrates. The other alternative is canned prescription food for diabetes.

Please let us know what you try and how long before the stools improve.

Best regards,
