My soon-to-be 17 year old cat is very arthritic. She recently injured herself and is limping. Whoopi is allergic to everything--a fact several near-death experiences verify. She is also asthmatic. While she used to receive yearly injections of Depomedrol, she hasn't had an injection for years. Yesterday, I took her to the vet. She was given a cortisone injection. This morning she refuses to eat or drink. It was only a 24-hour shot, but I will never let her have one again. Is your product something I could safely consider for Whoopi? Please advise.

Arthro-IonX would be a safe alternative for your cat. Because she is very sensitive I would start with a 1/4 dose AM and PM and then gradually increase it to 1/2 dose twice daily. I think it will offer her some relief.

Arthro-IonX helps to decrease pain and inflammation and stimulate healing. In addition I find it helpful to follow a holistic approach by giving some nutritional supplements to accompany Arthro-IonX. The supplements I recommend are digestive enzymes with meals, probiotics and fish oil. Arthro-IonX will help the body to better utilize the nutrition for a synergistic response. Please let us know how you do or if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,
Dr. Char
