Hi, Dr. Char. My 16 year-old cat is drinking a lot of water and peeing outside the litter box. I assume it is diabetes and am considering buying the Dia-IonX. My question: I have two cats that drink from the same bowl. Would this hurt my other cat? He's 14 years old. Thanks!

Dear Jane,

DIA-IONX would not hurt the other cat. I prefer to add a half dose twice daily to some canned food. That way the intended recipient usually gets their whole dose. I would also give PROBIOTICS and OMEGA 3,6,9 to support the body.

It would be helpful to bring a freshly caught urine sample to your veterinarian to rule out the presence of infection or kidney failure. Please let us know what you find out and we can offer more suggestions that would be helpful to your cat.

Best regards,

Dr. Char www.vetionx.com
