Health Questions & Answers

Hi guys,

I have a 5 week old calf that has been through the wars. She is one of twins who missed out on her colostrum, had a navel infection, has had some heavy courses of antibiotics and had anti inflammatories but the joints are very stiff and she moves in a very slow and measured way. She’s had a blood test and there is no sign of infection left. We’ve managed to keep her feeding off her mother by juggling feeds with her twin and she is slowly growing .The stiffness worries me and I was wondering if arthro ionx would be suitable in this case?

P.S .By the way,I use arthrionx on our old sheep dog and it has worked a miracle!!!

Dear Deb,

You may use Arthro-IonX on your calf. It decreases inflammation and should help him be more comfortable. Please let us know what response you get. Thank you.

Best regards,
Dr. Char
