My 15 year old cat has been diagnosed with diabetes. I am choosing to not go the insulin shot route. His bladder infection is how we found out. He is on Clavamox for 14 days, and I would like to start him on Dia-IonX. Will there be a problem giving him both. Or is there another solution? I want to keep him comfortable. Cindy

Dear Cindy,

You may use Dia-IonX along with other medications or supplements. It is homeopathic in nature and so it will not negatively interact with other physical substances. It is OK to give them both, but just give them separately. In addition I find it helpful to follow a holistic approach by giving some nutritional supplements to accompany Dia-IonX. The supplements I recommend are digestive enzymes with meals, probiotics, and fish Omega 3,6,9. Dia-IonX will help the body to better utilize the nutrition for a synergistic response.

Please let us know how you do or if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,
