Lexus Marie, 14 yo minpin had pancreatitis early June 2011. July 4th weekend she showed signs of diabetes and was subsequently diagnosed. She's now on insulin twice a day. Her BG levels now range from mid 100s to low 400s. Can we consider Dia-Ionx now that she's started on insulin?

Along with giving insulin I like to use Dia-IonX because it helps to control the symptoms of diabetes and its therapeutic mineral base helps activate the enzyme systems in the body that help with healing. In addition I like to give digestive enzymes with each meal, a probiotic, MSM, and a fish oil supplement daily. Dia-IonX will help the body better utilize the other supplements for a faster response. In addition make sure that you offer sufficient water free of chlorine and fluoride. A regular exercise schedule is also helpful in moving glucose from the blood and into the muscles which will reduce the blood glucose. It is important that you monitor the blood glucose levels so that you can ask your veterinarian about adjusting the insulin dosage when necessary. Please let us know how you progress or if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,
