Health Questions & Answers

My dog has diabetes, I give her 15 ml. of Vetsulin 2x per day.
Would Dia-IonX do the same thing? I am looking to cut down on cost.

Thank you

Dear Cindy,

Dia-IonX helps to stimulate and cleanse cells in the body so that they can function more normally. You will need to continue to give insulin, but with time many owners will find that they may need to lower the insulin dosage. Each individual is unique and responds differently. Our goal is to allow the body to heal and part of that is dependent upon the home care. I always stress the importance of an appropriate diet, regular exercise, and in addition I recommend digestive enzymes and probiotics to help return the internal environment to normal more quickly. Some animals are able to discontinue insulin treatment but the above factors will affect the outcome and the speed of change. For the well being of your pet it is important to manage the symptoms of diabetes to protect the eyes, kidney, and liver. A little additional money spent now may help reduce possible medical costs later.

To recap, you cannot just switch from insulin to Dia-IonX. You would use Dia-IonX along with it and monitor the results and make adjustments as the body begins to heal. Please let us know how you progress.

Best wishes,
Dr. Char
