My diabetic 17 year old cat was taking 1 Cosequin capsule a day for blood in his urine. Because of arthritis in his hips, the vet up it to 2 a day. Have been giving him Dia-ionx the last 6 weeks. Doesn't drink as much water (don't think he drinks enough) and is not eating as well. Thought maybe his glucose might be going down. Just got urine sample to take to vet tomorrow morning and it is brown in color. Was wondering if anything he is taking could possibly cause the discoloration. Afraid it might be something more serious. Would like your thoughts on this. I have just purchased Arthro-ionx but have not given any yet. Thank you.
