Health Questions & Answers

My mix black lab has hip dysplasia. He is 3 years old now and recently has been having problems. He was outside with our other dog (a husky) and got hurt when they were playing. Now he is not putting pressure on his back right leg and is limping. We have talked to our vet and got him on pain meds. We are seeing our Vet tonight to get X-rays. Will this product be able to help him even if he is currently injured due to his hip dysplasia? How long after taking this product would we see results?

Thank you

Worried about him. Max is his name.

Dear Elaine,

Arthro-IonX or Promaxol helps to reduce pain and inflammation due to hip dysplasia or injury. I am concerned that your dog may have injured his ligament in his knee. What did your veterinarian say? I would also give enzymes, probiotics, vitamin C, MSM, and fish oil as part of your daily regime to help with the hip dysplasia. The IonX products help with better utilization of the diet and supplements. Another beneficial thing to do is to have a veterinary chiropractor check over your dog to make sure everything is aligned properly. Please let us know how you do.

Best wishes,
Dr. Char
