My golden retriever out of the blue started having trouble getting up . We took her to the vet and were told she had arthritis we were given anti-inflamitory meds and pain meds. We are also trying laser. Is there anything else we can do ? She is 9 years old and we are not ready to give up on her!

Dear George,

I would start with PROMAXOL. It helps to decrease pain, inflammation, and stiffness and stimulate healing. Initially I would give a half dose with breakfast and supper. After improvement is seen you can decrease to a whole dose once daily. For longer term management you can switch to ARTHRO-IONX. In addition I find it helpful to follow a holistic approach by giving some nutritional supplements to accompany the homeopathic. I would use Probiotics and Omega 3,6,9 to help reduce inflammation. What type of food and water are you giving? Where do you live?

I would also suggest an evaluation by a veterinary chiropractor. If a correction is needed, that can help with better movement. Looking forward to your reply.

Best regards,
