Hi,
I have been giving my dog Arthro-IonX since January 1st and it seemed that her limping became worse. I brought her to the vet and he prescribed Rimadyl. Can I still continue using Arthro-IonX in her water? I stopped just in case.

Please advise.

Dear Darlene,

You may safely use Arthro-IonX along with Rimadyl because it is homeopathic in nature and doesn't contain large molecules that could negatively interact with medications. There are some other things that you could do to help speed the healing process. If you aren't doing these you might try to phase these into your protocol. Try to avoid known allergens, try feeding a food without wheat or gluten, and give digestive enzymes with meals, probiotics, and a high quality fish oil. These work together synergistically to provide faster results.

Please keep us informed of your progress. Thank you.

Best wishes,
Dr. Char
