Our cat Mia is hobbling & has difficulty sitting down. Looks like hip pain. She is going to be 21 in June. Would Arthro-IonX be ok for her? She has a heart murmur and is on special low magnesium food for kidney mgmt.

Dear Debi,

Arthro-IonX would be a good choice for an older cat that has health concerns. Being homeopathic in nature it will not burden her body with detoxification as what can happen with other drugs. It should reduce pain and stiffness and encourage her body to heal. It would also be helpful to give her digestive enzymes with each meal, and probiotics and a fish oil supplement daily. Together it has a synergistic effect for faster results.

You are very lucky to still have your cat with you at nearly 21 years. I hope we can help you make her as comfortable and healthy as possible. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,
Dr. Char
