Hello! On Saturday I started giving my male cat 15 drops of Arthro-IonX (he is 10 lbs) and as of this morning (Monday) he is with an upset stomach and throwing up his food. Could this be a reaction to the medication? He is extremely sensitive to things and is very allergic. He has asthma and is on conventional medication (non steroidal) for it. I know it states there should be no side effects, maybe in some cats canker sores and/or loose bowels. What do you think about his throwing up? Please let me know what you think and also should I continue. I do know this could be part of his detox right? Thank you for you help.

Dear Leslie,

I would start with 5 drops twice daily and see if that works better. Later you can work up to 10 drops twice daily if you need to. The goal is to keep him comfortable and the lower doses may work better. Another option is 5 drops 3 times per day if he needs it for better mobility or pain control. Please let us know how you are doing and we can help you decide what dosage will work best. It sounds like he is detoxifying a little and it should get better later. How is his appetite?

Best regards,
