Hi Dr Charlene

I was told that Arthro-Ionx used to contain glucosamine until recently.

Is there any reason why glucosamine is not used? I know that glucosamine helps arthritis but I am surprise it is not in arthro-Ionx.

Secondly, can I feed my dog arthro-ionx when I am also giving glucosamine to her? Will there be any side effects?

Regards

Barnabas

Dear Barnabas,

It is safe to use glucosamine with Arthro-IonX. The oligo-therapeutic mineral base helps the enzyme systems in the body which helps the body better utilize other supplements that are given. Arthro-IonX used to contain glucosamine but the product was reformulated when working towards governmental compliance for the homeopathic status. Please let us know how Arthro-IonX works for your dog.

Best wishes,
Dr. Char
