Both of the products listed above seem to have the same ingredients. Can they be given at the same time? I do not want to overdose. My cat is 11 years and 15 lb. He is in crisis with a very lame leg. Only a small amount of arthritis showed up on x-ray in elbow. He is also being given laser and Adequan and just gets worse. He was given buprenorphine and it made him worse - now crawling with leg bent under and eyes dialated. He seemed to be awake all of the time and hiding under the bed. I gave him both of your products in water last night and he drank about half. He is actually sleeping today. I just gave him prom in a little milk and he drank it all. Can I give him both at the same time? Would both twice a day be too much? Difficult to dose in mouth as he is so large to hold.

Dear Carol,

PROMAXOL is ARTHRO-IONX plus the LM potencies of each of the individual ingredients. I would start with PROMAXOL. It helps to decrease pain, inflammation, and stiffness and stimulate healing. Initially I would give a half dose with breakfast and again at supper. After improvement is seen you can decrease to a whole dose once daily. Or if you need to you can give 1-2 additional doses of ARTHRO-IONX in between times throughout the day. For longer term management you can switch to ARTHRO-IONX. In addition I find it helpful to follow a holistic approach by giving nutritional supplements to accompany the homeopathic. I would also use PROBIOTICS and OMEGA 3,6,9 to reduce inflammation and strengthen the body. What type of food and water are you giving? Does he tend to be warm or cool?

I would also suggest an evaluation by a veterinary chiropractor. If a correction is needed, that can help with better movement.

Looking forward to your reply.

Best regards,
