Dr. Char Wilson, I am writing to ask you about your product. I have an 11 year old Yellow Lab who appears to walk on his elbows in his back hind. he also will not go up stairs anymore. His mother had the same probably and eventually quit eating and we had to put her down. I also have a german sheppard pitbull mix who is almost 2 years old. He was hit by a car at 6 months old and had hip and pelvis injuries. He is doing good now and runs walks and goes upstairs fine now. But im afraid with his injuries he will develop arthritis. I was just wanting to know if this product would suit my pets needs. Thanks in advance!

Dear Danielle,

I would start with PROMAXOL. It helps to decrease pain and inflammation and stimulates healing. Initially I would give a half dose with breakfast and supper. After improvement is seen you can decrease to a whole dose once daily. For longer term management you can switch to ARTHRO-IONX. In addition I find it helpful to follow a holistic approach by giving some nutritional supplements to accompany the homeopathic. I would use MSM, vitamin C, probiotics, and Omega 3,6,9. For your older dog I would give a choline/B vitamin supplement called Geri-Form to help nourish the nerves innervating the rear end. What type of food and water are you giving your dogs?

I would also suggest an evaluation by a veterinary chiropractor for both dogs. If a correction is needed, that can help with better movement.

Please keep us updated and we can help guide you.

Best regards,

Dr.Char www.vetionx.com
