Health Questions & Answers

My Rotty was diagnosed with Arthritis about 4 years ago. We have tried different treatments, the best being a course of injections. These are very expensive. Can I give him Volatren? It is in his lower back and hips. He is well in his self but I would like to help him to walk better.

Dear Noeleen,

Volatren is a human drug so I would not use it in a dog. Have you tried Arthro-IonX? It helps with pain and helps to rebuild joints. If pain is severe we usually start with Promaxol. It contains LM potencies and is stronger. Neither produces the side effects such as gastric upset that NSAIDs do. Using a holistic approach combining our homeopathic product along with digestive enzymes, fish oil, and glucosamine has given many pets great relief.

Best wishes,
Dr. Char
