Health Questions & Answers

I have a 14 year old dog with arthritis, does she need the Arthro-IonX and the Promaxol. Is it safe to use with other medications? I'm giving her Cosequin and she's on an antibiotic for a kidney infection. She was taking Carprofen but I had to stop that because she was vomiting. Thank you. She is also taking Tramadol.

Dear Kathy,

You can use either ARTHRO-IONX or PROMAXOL to help decrease pain. Since they are homeopathic they do not have the negative side effects that other NSAIDS do. You can use them along with other medicatons. I usually start with PROMAXOL and switch to ARTHRO-IONX once there are signs of improvement. However you can start with ARTHRO-IONX if you want to. In addition I would give PROBIOTICS and OMEGA 3,6,9 to support the body and reduce inflammation.

It might be helpful to have a veterinary chiropractor or acupuncturist check her over. Better alignment can reduce pain and improve movement.

Please keep us updated so we can help guide you.
