I have a 1 year old mixed breed dog that I have had since she was 1 day old. (I fostered the mom and pups). She always showed a shyness around people and other dogs but recently she won't even eat in front of my other dogs. I have to feed them and then take her and her food into a separate room, close the door and entice her with tidbits to get her to start eating. Once she starts she seems to be okay but getting her started is a chore. And any strange noise distracts her and she stops eating. Will Anxietrex help her with this problem?

Dear Janis,

Is it possible to feed your anxious dog when you eat with no other dogs around? This should be encouraging for her. Top the food with something that she thinks of as a treat. Sometimes I have used a little shredded cheese on top. I would try a half dose of ANXIETREX on breakfast and supper. What kind of food do you use? It is good to feed grain free. I would also give PROBIOTICS since this can positively influence behavior.

Please let us know what changes you observe.
