Dr Char, my cat,Tony, has been on Dia-Ionx for at least 3 yrs now and it has lowered his insulin dosage tremendously. I now believe he has developed Cushing's disease. He's losing his hair on spots on his back, very hungry, big belly, drinks more and pees out of his box lately. The vet said flees, but that's not it. He wants to do testing, but I found that these symptoms are exactly those of Cushing's and it happens frequently w/diabetic cats. Is the insulin considered a cortisone? Is Dia-Ionx considered that? What can help him with this? Thanks
