I purchased Derma IonX and have been using it for almost 2 weeks now. When I first started it, the cat had just cleared up for 2 open sores after wearing the cone and using a steroid topical ointment. When I took the cone off, while starting Ion X, within a matter of days he licked opened 7 more wounds. I had to put cone back on. I continued with IonX oral, topical, and steroid topical for bad ones. This morning I took cone off for a little bit as he licks the cone obsessively so he can clean some. I have a dermatologist appointment Fri the 12th. I want to try to continue with IonX and maybe add Omegas but I do know he has food allergies as this all started with that. Steroid shots don't help or last any longer as he has been getting them a long time. Dermatologist mentioned Atopica at visit with my dog. I want to help the cat so much as he has lived in a cone for almost 2 months now and I want it to be natural, but IonX does not seemed to have slowed him down yet. I know it can take time. Any suggestions would be great before I go to the dermatologist as I really want to try natural. Just afraid, it is not working and he is a mess.
