I have the meds I ordered. Is the pain one safe for an elderly cat on methimazole? She also has kidney issues, common with older cats. I don't know if she is actually having problems urinating (she generally cries after, but she is producing a normal output, unlike when she had crystals). I am thinking there may be inflammation somewhere and the pain med might help. She meows quite often these days, not uncommon habit for elderly cats according to my vet. I just want her last days (or months) to be comfortable. I do not want to make her live longer and be in pain, but to be as comfortable as possible. Thanks for your reply to my initial question regarding our asthmatic guy.

Dear Kathy,

PROMAXOL is safe to use with medications since it is homeopathic in nature. So it is OK to use with Methimazole. PROMAXOL helps reduce pain and inflammation without causing the side effects associated with conventional NSAIDS.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,
