Dear Susan,

You might want to look at some of our products to help improve the skin. Probiotics can increase better nutrient availability and Omega 3,6,9. can help to moisturize the body from the inside out. DERMA-IONX which is an oral homeopathic product stimulates the enzyme systems in the body which promotes healing of the skin and helps with assimilation of nutritional components in diet and supplements. I would also suggest that you give your pet only filtered water for drinking and bathing if your water contains chlorine or fluoride. For the dietary modifications you might want to try a grain free diet that uses fish or turkey as the protein since these are considered to be cooling proteins according to Chinese food therapy. Dandruff can be a sign of heat in the body.

DEFENDEX shampoo which is nontoxic washes away debris and soothes the skin. It does not contain sodium lauryl sulfate which is commonly found in shampoos which is drying to the skin.

Please feel free to contact us again if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,

Dr. Char http://www.vetionx.com/
