We have a 6 month old collie pup who has hip dysplasia. I ordered Arthro-IonX from Vetionx. Do you think it will make a difference? When will I notice a difference? Also, can he lead a normal life? Thank you. Donna

Dear Donna,

Arthro-IonX helps to stimulate healing and reduce pain and inflammation. In addition I find it helpful to follow a holistic approach by giving some nutritional supplements to accompany Arthro-IonX. The supplements I recommend are Canine Probiotics, MSM, Vitamin C, and Omega 3,6,9. Glucosamine and Manganese would be helpful in your situation, too. Arthro-IonX will help the body to better utilize the nutrition for a synergistic response. I would also consult a veterinary chiropractor. Proper alignment can help to engage the hip better and aid its healing.

Often pets show some pain relief in a few days. But healing takes time so you will need to continue giving Arthro-IonX until the healing has taken place. It is hard to estimate the length of time of treatment because each case is unique and is dependent upon the severity of the hip dysplasia.

Please let us know how you progress or if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,

Dr. Char
