Our new puppy fell down a fell steps backward and is now limping and will apply a small amount of pressure on leg when attempting to walk I have felt the entire leg and don't find any obvious deforminity what can be wrong did give him some childrens motrin.

Dear Brandy,

It would be advisable to see your veterinarian for an evaluation. If no major abnormalities are found you might still want to see a veterinary chiropractor. They will help fix minor subluxations that would not be readily apparent to someone who has not studied chiropractic.

You should not give Motrin to your puppy. How did you determine the correct dosage for his body weight? A safer alternative is give homeopathic PROMAXOL which reduces pain and inflammation.
